DIP Simulator Introduction
The DIP Simulator is a webservice that simulates the external interface of the MHHS Data Integration Platform (DIP). It implements all the specified DIP endpoints and supports the DIP interfaces listed in the table below at the indicated specification version. It also implements ‘Always’ and ‘Primary’ routing as described for each interface in the DIP specification.
The DIP Simulator is not intended to reproduce all the DIP’s behaviour – it simulates some basic functionality, format validation and routing which means that it will be a useful addition to a participant’s suite of testing tools.
